Scope These business terms and conditions are applicable to contracts purchased via the www.Leon Publications.org website and all of its subdomains (henceforth referred to as the “Website”), related email correspondence, and all associated services offered by Leon Publications, I87 Brooklands Road, B28 8JP, Birmingham, UK (henceforth referred to as ” Leon Publications “). The term “Customer” will be used throughout these Terms and Conditions to refer to any user of the website or purchaser of services. Unless specifically approved in writing by Leon Publications, any business terms by the customer that deviate from these terms and conditions will not be applicable. An essential component of the current Terms and Conditions are the Website’s Terms of Use (Terms of Use).

Offering of Leon Publications Customers can use the website to order scientific publication and editorial services from Leon Publications.

Ordering and Purchasing of Services from Leon Publications The customer must first register on the website in order to place an order for a publication service. The customer must be of full age and possess full legal capacity in order to register on the website. As soon as the customer submits an original scientific article (the “Article”) for peer review and potential publishing by Leon Publications, they want to contract for publication and editorial services from Leon Publications. The client consents to open access publication, which grants unrestricted access to the paper they have published. The customer also consents to the article processing charge (APC) and is required to pay it after the work is accepted for publication.The customer has the following cancelation rights while using Leon Publications services: At any point when the article is being evaluated (peer-reviewed), the customer has the right to remove the article and revoke the stated desire to complete the contract. The customer cannot take the article back once it has been approved for publication. Leon Publications must recover back any perks or interests that the customer received prior to the cancellation. Leon Publications has the following cancellation rights when providing services to the customer: Leon Publications may reject the article at any time without giving a reason, in which case the contract would be terminated. Both parties are released from all prior obligations under these Terms and Conditions upon the cancellation through Leon Publications. If the consumer has already paid any service fees prior to the contract being cancel, they will receive a complete refund. Any bank fees or transaction fees will be subtracted from a partial refund of the excess amount if the customer pays more than Leon Publications invoiced. Leon Publications will only reimburse authors in extraordinary situations after an article is published each case will be considered individually.

Manuscript and Copyright Issues Please substantiate that you have acquired the required copyright authorization if your manuscript contains reproductions of content from other publications. Please visit our website on rights and permissions: The rights and obligations of authors. As long as it hasn’t been published or submitted to another journal, your paper is approved for processing. Papers that incorporate information revealed at conferences are an exception to this restriction; nevertheless, if this is the case, do let us know. Please make sure that all authors are aware of and concur with the manuscript’s contents for papers with several authors. If we are unsure, we have the right to get in touch with each author to get confirmation. For billing purposes, please include the name, address, and email of each author as well as at least one institutional email address for one of the co-authors. Prices, Terms of Payment The Article Publishing Fee page lists the prices. The cost of the publication service for an accepted article is determined by the date the article was first submitted to Leon Publications. Authors from institutions that have joined our institutional open access program (IAOP) are eligible for discounts on the service price, and reviewers may also be eligible. Additionally, Leon Publications retains the right to refuse discounts and waivers without providing a justification, but may offer them in extraordinary circumstances. After the customer receives the invoice, Leon Publications must be paid within 5–10 days. Soon after an article is accepted for publication, invoices are emailed to the customer’s designated payment contact.

Contract Document Leon Publications makes no provision for a separate contract document based on these Terms and Conditions. However, the Customer may check at any time the ordered services and status of the Article through her/his personal account on the Website

Miscellaneous Even if the customer resides outside of the UK, Birmingham, UK will have jurisdiction over any legal problems originating from these terms and conditions. Only British law that is applicable at Leon Publications location of jurisdiction will be used. The validity of the remaining terms and conditions will not be impacted if any of them are determined to be invalid. In order to replace the invalid clause with a valid arrangement that is as near to the original provision as possible, the contractual parties must negotiate. Leon Publications maintains the right, at any moment, to modify these terms and conditions by publishing updates on this website page without any notice. Please review these terms and conditions from time to time for any changes. You will be deemed to have accepted and consented to such modifications if you continue to use any service after they are posted.
